I'm told that the song Yellow(originally by Coldplay) is my best song, and it can be found here. Well, my wife likes it at least. She didn't believe that I could sing that high. I'm sorry if most of the songs don't sound that great... we won't be quitting our day jobs just yet.

We have had a lot of fun with the band, and all of us work for URS. Who knew that engineers could be so talented?

Family Reunion 2007

Here are some pictures from our family reunion held in Arizona this past week. After 1 trip to the hospital for Jewelia, almost taking Paul, and then everyone getting sick here and there, we survived! The cousins seemed to get along well, and we all had a good time. We all ate a lot of food! We went swimming, played basketball, went to a movie, and the girls got their nails done.

Here is our family of soon to be 6:

Troy and Becca are old old 30.
Troy is a GIS analyst/programmer/web developer/lead singer in a rock band.
Becca is a Customer Service Manager/babysitter/mom (cook,maid,nurse,etc).

Micah is 7 and going into 2nd grade in a full time gifted program. He loves to play chess and is taking piano lessons, already in book #3. He is our Einstein.

Caleb is 4 and just starting Preschool this fall, although he already reads chapter books and writes (following in brother's footsteps). He just finished T-ball.

Jewelia is 2 and the "Princess". She is a big talker and already mastering potty training! She keeps her brothers in line by telling them who is NAUGHTY!!

And baby Macey is a little under "-4 months" as Troy says. So far the doctors describe her as "very squirmy", and "very stubborn". Oh that sounds great.

We are winding down to one month left of summer. Next week we go to Arizona to visit Grandma Mary and Grandpa Jim.

Troy just finished his summer session concert for his band "Deadline Effect". Check by later for some footage from his last gig. He performed at Wheeler Farm this past Saturday. It was very very very hot.

Micah starts school the middle of next month and Caleb starts Preschool the 1st week of September.

Here is Troy installing his first home improvement job. No more holes in the carpet of the stairs!! Woohoo! Today comes his next job--installing a window rod and new insulated curtains. OOH.....the pressure!!! And wait! Little does he know this weekend he'll be drilling and installing a wall shelf in the girls' room! Oh the fun!!!!!! Next week, it's fixing the sprinklers! And then maybe painting!!!!!!!!
