Micah Gets His Bobcat

Micah earned his Bobcat Award in Cub Scouts! Way to go Micah!

Macey is still A-OK

We took Macey to her eye checkup to check on her cataract in her left eye, and the doctor says she is still A-OK. He says it isn't affecting her vision as of yet, and it hasn't grown or changed. So that is good news. We'll just go back in 6 months to see if she'll need corrective lenses. Poor little poka-dot eyed girl. She'll always be cool for Halloween though.

Oh, and I thought I'd show off the plaque I made all by myself! Aren't I crafty? And the only reason I decided to do it in the first place was to cover up some nail holes in the wall since we moved pictures around. I am so sneaky. Why paint everything all over when you can just HIDE the holes or marks in walls? Maybe we always take the easy way out.

Are you secure enough with yourself to wear a pink shirt?!

So, are ya?! I got this cute church outfit for Caleb to wear for Easter, and Troy is all freaking out that it has a pink shirt and tie. You can't see it, but the vest and pants are a light grey and have very teeny thin pink pinstripes. I think it looks nice and springish, but Troy can't seem to handle the fact it has a pink shirt. So, I ask you, do think it's bad to wear pink if you are a boy? I think it shows you are secure with who you are, and not afraid to wear whatever color.

And on a side note--look at the Cinderella princess dress we got Jewelia. She is so obsessed with Cinderella right now. We're going to let her wear this for her 3 year old pictures so she can be the Princess! And just look how cute she will look standing next to Caleb with his matching pink shirt! Just wait Troy---I'm going to find you a nice pastel dress shirt!!!! HA HAAAAA!!!!

Micah's 8 year old pictures!

We took Micah in for his 8 year old pictures today. These are the best ones out of the bunch. Isn't he handsome? And then, since it was really slow at Kiddie Kandids, they asked if we wanted a picture for free to do some training, so we said sure--take the baby. She wasn't in a great happy mood, but hey, it was free anyway. I think it shows she has personality.

Torture time again!

Poor little kids......always being tormented by Mom to take group pictures.......over and over and over again.

It's too bad they know I will torment them for the rest of their lives. Well, at least until they move out.

I just can't help myself.......well, I get much more opportunties to torture the kids then do a whole group family picture with everyone. Troy absolutely HATES it when I want to do family group pictures. You'd think we all hated each other and didn't want to let anyone see a picture with us smiling together or something.

This picture is interesting to see, 2 separate days, and yet Caleb is wearing the same thing. He's one that will wear something for a week if I'd let him. "But it's not dirty!" He says. Sure, it's not. It only has spagetti on it, and jello, and other miscellaneous slimes.

Caleb and Jewelia get tormented much more than anyone else since they are home with me the most, and not sleeping or crying.
