Well, just another uneventful day (in my life? yeah, right) when we were turning right at an intersection. I was driving the van and stopped at the red light to look and merge into traffic, when BUMP! Somebody rear ended me! I pulled over and got out and the guy behind me didn't speak much English, but a friend of his in the car behind him did and helped him give me all his insurance information. They say "don't worry, insurance will cover everything" and stupid stupid me didn't have my cell phone at the moment and didn't call the police, so I went on my way.
Comes to be a week later, the insurance company still can't get ahold of this guy to admit liability, and I try the 2 separate phone numbers he's given me and one is disconnected, and the other is some internet training company that has never heard of him!
I bring the police over to look at the damages and file a police report, because basically to me this is just the same as a hit and run by now.
Then finally they get a hold of him and say, sorry, but he is filing a claim that I backed into him and so they cannot fix my van because he did not accept liability.
Well, NO WAY THIS IS GOING TO HAPPEN!!!!! Someone can't just ram into me and tell me it's their fault and even have full coverage insurance but yet then turn around and LIE and suggest that I backed into them. I mean--why am I going to stop at an intersection to turn right, but yet, hey, maybe I'll put the van in reverse and go backward for some bizarre reason?
I have an automatic, and the road is completely flat! Even in idle I would still go forward, not backward!

So, anyway, don't mess with me! I am taking Mr. false information and not accepting responsibility to COURT! YES! If you are out there Mr. Man who hit me and now wants to make up a story, well you are going to COURT! You could have just let your insurance pay for it, but now it will have to come out of your pocket! And don't think I can't figure out where you live to summon you, cause I have already found your address and gone by your house to verify it for the Sherriff who is soon to see you!!!
So, moral of the story--if you smash someone's car, be a MAN--accept the responsibility! Don't lie! Don't try to hide! Because I will find you and you will pay!
