Hello all of you at Maceys, are you watching?

Hello all of you guys at Maceys! Troy told me some of you in the Service Desk had our blog minimized on the back computer so you could see what's happening with us while I'm on leave. So this is just a friendly hello to you all! I don't miss work too much yet! Here are the latest pictures of the baby:

Hair Cut for Jewelia

Yes, mostly you see Jewelia with CRAZY hair, but I did take the time to try and staighten her bangs today and cut them nice and even. What do you think? We'll work on the back of her hair later.

---------------------------------------
And yes, if you want to see Jewelia smile, this is the only place for it! So many people are always calling her the little girl who never smiles or talks, but I promise she does. When I ask her how old she is, she says I'm BIG!
---------------------------------------
While Macey seems to have gotten Troy's genes, there is no mistaking Jewelia is a spittin image of her mommy. Troy says she sure got all my stubborn genes. Well, just wait to see how many really stubborn genes Macey gets then!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We hosted Thanksgiving dinner this year at our house. I think it went pretty well. Troy and I made a good dinner together with some help from Dad and Sally. And baby Macey slept conveniently through the whole dinner! Caleb's new discovery was cranberry sauce, and Micah and Jewelia loved the fruit salad.

Later the kids tried to play board games with Dad until Jewelia threw all the pieces.

Welcome baby Macey!

Macey Rose Spjute was born on November 12, 2007 at 3:58 pm. She weighed in at 7 lbs 2 ounces, and measured 20 inches long. She came with dark brown hair just like her daddy. Big brothers and sister are very proud. So far she is a pretty good little baby. She only cries when she needs something.

Micah and Caleb are very protective over their little sister, and Jewelia is so excited that "her baby" gets to come home and be in her room and sleep in her crib. She gets all upset when Macey cries though.

Daddy is very very tired, but he is helping to take care of everything. Mommy is very sore and very tired, but she has a lot of helpers.

Thanks to everyone for the flowers, the visits, and presents. Extra hugs and kisses to Grandma Mary for managing the kids all week and for all the extra help. We love you!

Caleb continues with the piano.....

Caleb, still obsessed with the piano, has just started book 3 in piano lessons. He is going to play on the grand piano at Maceys during the weekend for their open house. Here is a not so perfect version of one of the songs he is going to play, but not too bad for a little kid. If you are a music critic, then don't watch this. We are very proud of our little Mozart. He's done pretty well if you want to compare only a few months ago when he first started to play. You can look at that previous blog in August. or click here
