Jewelia Sing A Solo?
The kids have been asked to be a part of the ward's sacrament meeting choir presentation. They were asked to sing a 3 verse song which is a primary song, but it is pretty complex. The boys can just read the words from the music, but since Jewelia can't read yet, we figured she wouldn't be in it, and instead we invited Micah/Caleb's future girlfriend 2 doors down to sing.
It turns out that Jewelia actually learned the song and knows the first verse very well, so now we are going to see if she can sing the 1st verse alone and then the rest of the kids sing the rest of the song. It is just so cute, and I think it would be great for "the girl who never talks" to shock the ward by a little solo. So, here she is singing the first verse to "Tell Me The Stories of Jesus"

What do you think? Should she do it alone and then have the other kids join in for the rest, or should we just leave it how it was planned before? I guess it's up to the choir director in the end. It's just so cute though!!
Update---It has been approved! Jewelia will sing the first and the other kids are going to join in for the other 2 verses! It will be so cute this Sunday!
