A Pretty Big Sunday
Today was a pretty big day for our family. We were asked to speak in church. Everybody had to have a talk ready except for Jewelia and Macey. We also had a musical number we needed to organize with Micah, Caleb and Jewelia.
It doesn't sound too bad. It could cause a little bit of stress, but for this week, it was hard.
It has been a pretty rough week. I've been sick, the kids have had tons of homework, and we have been pretty busy with events. On Tuesday, Troy's car blew up and died leaving us as a 1 vehicle family. We were hoping his car would last just 8 more months, but this time was the end. Timing kind of stinks! To top it all off, Troy was in charge of a Saturday spaghetti dinner and activity.
It was crazy---and then trying to write a bunch of talks and practicing the kids' singing was pretty overwhelming. Anyone who comes to our house and sees the disaster will be able to tell!
Anyway, it worked out well in the end. We all gave decent talks (I didn't even ramble too much) and the kids did a great job singing. We had a lot of family come to watch. Some live too far away and some friends were out of town, so we thought we'd record it for those who missed it.
Enjoy!

Wow it sounds like a pretty busy week. You are super woman. I'm glad everything went well. Your family is amazing so there is no question that all of your talks were great. Again, you have darling kids.
Thanks for posting the video of the kids singing! They did such a great job! That is cool that everyone was so good about knowing their parts! I would have been so confused! How did your talks go?
Dad said you all did very well, sorry I was not able to be there.
Wow I'm not sure how you do it all! Sorry to hear you were sick, hopefully you are feeling better now.
Wow Becca...I don't know how you do it. I agree with Holly you are super woman. I loved the video!
well after all you are the "SUPER SPJUTES" GOOD JOB for pulling through Becca!
Thanks for posting the video too, because it made me cry. I know when the Lord hears his children sing with such innocence and love, that he is proud to be our father. In a world with so much turmoil and trouble seeing his sweet children be so pure it has to make it worth it for him. I loved hearing your sweet kids sing!
I loved all the talks, and the kids musical number was the best.
Love you all,
Grandpop Hemingway
