Prepare Your Ears for Jewelia on Violin!

Jewelia is taking violin lessons.
She has had 2 lessons so far. She absolutely loves her "little violin just for her". It is so teeny. If you can believe it, it is a 1/10 in size compared to a full size violin.

She is very lucky to have a very nice teacher who comes all the way to our house to teach her. His name is Mr. Hooper.

Today she practiced bowing with her eyes closed like in the picture above.

She also learned the proper way to hold the bow. It's kind of hard to do with such little fingers, but she is trying! She listens very well to her teacher and hardly makes a peep while he is here. Well, that is unless you count the sound from her violin!

She is doing pretty well for only 2 whole lessons. She practiced all week long how to bow straight. Here is a little video of her playing different strings during her lesson today:

Good luck, Jewelia! Practice hard!
