Pinewood Derby Time!

Tuesday it was the annual Pinewood Derby for Micah who is a Webelos Scout.

Here is a picture of all the cars that were entered.

(Notice how many were probably made by their parents, I mean how many 8 year olds do you know who can do a design and paint job like some of these?)

We cut Micah's but he did all the rest. Can you tell which one his is?

Here's a close up picture. He used a ton of graphite, so it kind of smeared everything black.

He didn't do too bad. His car raced 4 times, once in each lane. He came in 2nd every time and first in the last race. So not bad at all. Out of everyone I think he placed 12th out of 24 cars.

His car won "best representation of a cartoon character". He named it "Picha Power". (One of the Pokemon)
