On the way back from our trip to Arizona, we stopped in Moab!
At first entering the city, there was a huge rainstorm and the whole place was flooded.

We figured out how to fit 3 kids in one bed at the hotel!

We stayed overnight, then in the morning we were off to hike and explore!
Troy was a great driver this time. Last 2 times we had road trips, Troy was very sick, so I had to drive a lot. This time I got to take a break!

We chose to go to Arches National Park, since we had visited it once before about 5 years ago and thought it was pretty fun. Last time we came Jewelia was a baby and Caleb was 2 and Micah 5?
Anyway, we had lots of fun. We went on a couple short hikes and a longer one, and ate lunch. The kids all enjoyed it pretty much.

Not so sure about Macey. She seemed to have the falling down a lot syndrome. So, Troy carried her on and off.

It was interesting how many tourists there were from all around the world. I mean, this was just Moab, but it seemed like nobody spoke English. We heard all sorts of foreign languages.
In fact, from the looks of this picture, you'd think we were in the middle East! Ha haaaa! Troy always seemed to get some weird shots of us with weird people in the background. Although this is my favorite picture from the trip. I think it is so funny to be in front of the "cloaked woman".

Troy wanted to hike the long trip to Delicate Arch, but I know Macey would never have made it, so we went on the smaller hike with a distant view, but we still got some close up pictures.

We had a lot of fun and Micah didn't complain too much (he really hates hiking).

He got his fun later as we visited the visitors center which had all sorts of rock exhibits which he loves.

We had a great time and would love to go back! Thank goodness no one was sick and the drive wasn't all that bad this time. It was good to be home after a week long adventure though.
There's no place like home! :)
