Paul McCartney Live in Concert!

Yep, we were pretty lucky. We got to go to the Paul McCartney concert here. Troy did some work for my dad at his office and so my dad was nice enough to get us tickets to go see him!

We had pretty decent seats. No we weren't on the ground, but I think it was better to be up in the stadium so you didn't have to see past people's heads.

And anyway, my dad brought me a pair of binoculars.

Really the view was about this for us:

It was far, but they had these huge big screens next to the stage that you could see.

I managed some decent pictures, although dark.

It was a great concert and they even did cool fireworks shooting off when they did the "Live and Let Die" James Bond song. That was great.

I've gotten a lot of negative comments about seeing Paul McCartney and how wasteful it is to go see him and this and that. Well, goodness. I didn't know there were so many Paul McCartney or Beatles haters out there!

Right now Caleb is playing Let it Be on the piano and Micah is working on his Blackbird song on acoustic guitar. They played both of these at the concert and I got it on video so I could come home and show my boys. They thought it was awesome to see their songs in true life performances from the man who had written them.

Here's a little clip from the concert, Let it Be:

Here's a little video of the fireworks shooting off before some big guy stood up in front of me:

Anyway, thanks for the tickets Dad!

Oh man, I am so jealous! I about peed my pants when I heard he was coming. Then I saw the ticket prices and took a big GASP!
And then I said to myself, it is abslolutely rediculous for a man of his financial standing to charge those kind of prices, I mean come on! I would have felt better about paying it if I knew it was going to charity at least.
Then the day came and I was full of regret. Then on the 10:oopm news they showed part of the concert and I thought DAMN, I cut off my nose to spite my face and probably missed my only chance to see a member of my beloved Beatles.
Moral of the story, suck it up and pay for the damn ticket:(

P.S.You're little ones atern't so little anymore:/
